City of Boulder City issued the following announcement on August 25.
Two residential streets will be closed to traffic from 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on August 31, 2021. Boulder City’s Electrical contractor PAR will be upgrading equipment on Shoshone (from Arapaho to the west cul-de-sac) and on Avenue K (from 8th Street to Kendrick). This will require the use of a crane, requiring these streets to be closed down temporarily. The crane will be set up in the street blocking all traffic. We also ask that all vehicles not be parked in the street.
Residents in the area have been notified. Crews will complete their work in the shortest time possible to minimize any inconvenience. If you have any questions regarding this process, please feel free to contact the Utilities Department at (702) 293-9266, option 1, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
