After the recent mandate from the State Board of Health that students in the Nevada System of Higher Education must be vaccinated for spring 2022, Western Nevada College has arranged free COVID-19 walk-in vaccination clinics.
Now that the days are getting shorter and it’s really time to put away the camping, swimming, hiking and other summer-time activities, you might have thought: too bad I have to wait until January to enroll in classes at TMCC!
From a very young age, Rebecca Howard dedicated herself to the service of others, donating time and money to youth causes, and serving as an organizer of various fundraising and educational initiatives as president of the Pre-Pharmacy Club at Salt Lake Community College, including organizing an on-campus flu shot clinic and raising money for Intermountain Specialized Abuse Treatment Center and Primary Children’s Hospital. Howard earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, and an Associate of Science in Pre-Medical from Salt Lake Community College.
